Councillor Castro Liu - Community Update - September 2022
Dear Ward 3 Residents,
I hope you are having a good summer.
As students head back to school, I would like to remind all drivers to be extra cautious especially when driving through designated school zones. Respect your neighbours and allow people to pull out their driveways when there is a line up on the street during rush hour.
School Bus Safety
Drivers travelling in both directions must stop for a stopped school bus with its upper red lights flashing. When you approach the bus from the front, stop at a safe distance to let children get on or off the bus and cross the road. Do not move forward until the red lights have stopped flashing or the bus begins to move.
