A media dinner reception was hosted for Ethnic media on Monday, March-11 at Chandni Banquet Hall in Brampton

This was to commemorate 50th anniversary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at in Canada.

A large number of media guests were in attendance from audio visual, print and social media.

Syed Mukkaram Nazeer was MC of the program. Program started with recitation of Holy Qur'an by Syed Labeeb Ahmad.

Mr. Abdul Haleem Tayyab National Media Coordinator in his introductory remarks expressed his gratitude to all media guests. H also remarked “We are known with our motto ‘Love for all and hatred for none. We are determined and keen to promote peace, justice and tolerance as our sacred duty to spread this true and real message of Islam. He quoted “Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community that justice and honesty required to prevent outbreak of Third World War and warns of potential global impact of youth radicalization”.

Mr Farhan Khokhar National Vice President also explained the History of 50-Years of Community and expressed his thanks to media to also join our program with special participation in our annual gathering. He highlighted different initiatives during the celebration year.

During comments and remarks session, a number of Media guests recognized efforts of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at for their services for humanity and their role for global peace . They praised efforts and contribution of his Holiness Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad the world wide head of the community in promoting peace in the world.

Mr Lal Khan Malik National President in his concluding remarks said that Canada is our home land and we must love this great country. We must always stay faithful in which we enjoy all comfort of life, the freedom of expression and to perform any of their religious rituals with complete freedom. He extend the invitation to all media guests to join at the upcoming special annual convention in the first week of October-2016. This year convention will also be graced with presence of our Imam Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad the world wide head of the community. With a note of thank the reception concluded with silent prayer and dinner.
