Hong Kong, as a top-three global financial centre, is renowned for its robust regulatory framework, free-market environment, and diverse financial ecosystem. Phoenix TV, with its extensive experience in the Greater China region and global markets, has produced professional financial programs such as Financial Journal and Asian Financial Insight, and organised events like the Phoenix Financial Forum for The Great Bay Area and Phoenix Star Best Listed Companies, providing vital platforms for industry exchange and innovation. Meanwhile, the FSTB has actively promoted the development of cutting-edge fields such as virtual assets, financial technology, and green finance in recent years, continuously consolidating Hong Kong’s international competitiveness.
The first phase of the collaboration will focus on Web 3.0 technology and industry development. Jointly produced financial programs will delve into Web 3.0 trends, policy support, and risk management, combining case studies and expert analysis to showcase Hong Kong’s leading practices in virtual asset regulation and fintech innovation to a global audience.
Yeung Ka-keung stated that Phoenix TV, as the only overseas Chinese-language media with a global news network, operates 63 bureaus worldwide. Rooted in Hong Kong for 29 years, Phoenix TV has consistently supported fintech development in the city, extensively covering major events such as Consensus Hong Kong 2025 and the Hong Kong Web 3 Carnival. "Through this partnership, Phoenix TV will leverage its global reach and multimedia platforms to disseminate the latest developments in Hong Kong’s financial sector to international audiences," he added.
Joseph Chan remarked, "The cooperation aims to showcase Hong Kong’s latest innovations through professional financial programs. Under the cooperation initiative, the future collaborations between the FSTB and Phoenix TV may expand to green finance and wealth management, jointly producing high-quality content to highlight Hong Kong’s vitality as an international financial centre."
