士嘉堡自駕排骨節（僅限汽車出入）

今年原定於8月長週末舉行的士嘉堡排骨節，因COVID-19疫情而取消。取而代之的是由士嘉堡扶輪社舉辦的頗具新意的士嘉堡自駕排骨節（僅限汽車出入）。

 

活動詳情

日期：2020年9月26日（星期六）和9月27日（星期日）

時間：上午11時至晚上8時

地點：百年理工學院（Centennial College），Progress 校園（941 Progress 大道）

 

多倫多市政府

• 在今天市府COVID-19媒體新聞發佈會上，市長莊德利根據目前多倫多公共衛生醫療官正在調查的COVID-19病例數據，概述了多倫多公共衛生部門的建議：

o 減少社交聚會人數限制

o 加強執行現有限制

The Scarborough Drive-Thru Ribfest (cars only)

This year’s Scarborough Ribfest, originally scheduled for the August long weekend, was cancelled due to COVID-19. As an alternative, The Rotary Club of Scarborough has created The Scarborough Drive Thru Ribfest (cars only).

Dates: Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th, 2020

Time: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

Location: Centennial College, Progress Campus (941 Progress Ave)

 

City of Toronto

• During today's City’s COVID-19 media update, Mayor Tory outlined Toronto Public Health's advice based on the current COVID-19 cases being investigated by health officials:

o Reduce the social gatherings limits

o Enhance enforcement on existing restrictions

o Expand the mandatory mask requirements

• Mayor Tory indicated that over the coming days, the City will be moving to act on all three of these areas – some which will require cooperation with our partners in the Government of Ontario. Read more…

 

Government of Ontario

• Ontario government is investing $2.5 million through the Ontario Together Fund in Linamar Corp to support retooling of its assembly line to manufacture ventilator components to produce 10,000 Ontario made e700 ventilators.

 

Government of Canada

• Canada will keep the border with the U.S closed until at least October 21st.
