Safety Measures for Condos and Apartments (COVID-19)
· Living in a condo/apartment building with shared facilities and tight spaces amid COVID-19 can be challenging;
· Policies specific to COVID-19 will vary condo board to condo board;
· Bring tissues with you so you can use it when you push the elevator button or handle doorknobs;
· If the elevator has other residents in it, please wait for another elevator (overcrowded elevators should be avoided);
· Take the stairs where possible (It is a way to avoid sharing elevators and a good way to keep healthy);
· When waiting for the elevator, please keep your distance from other residents by 2 metres;
· Be mindful, think about what you may be touching - door knobs, elevator buttons, garbage chute handles;
· Work with management as they ramp up and increase the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting surfaces; and,
· Maintain your separation, keep your hands clean, keep your hands away from your eyes, mouth and nose and please stay home if you don’t have to go out.
City of Toronto
· The City of Toronto is resuming yard waste collection for a period of two weeks, beginning on Monday, April 6 to Friday, April 17.
· Residents are asked to put their yard waste out on their regularly scheduled garbage/yard waste at the start of collection week (Monday).
· Please put your yard waste in yard waste bags to keep our workers safe.
· Crews are working to pick it up so please allow a few days and we will get to it.
Government of Ontario
· The new list of essential services features 44 categories - grocery stores, pharmacies, utilities, public transit, taxis and animal care services all remain open. · Cannabis shops, which had initially been deemed an essential business, have been cut from the revised list with only the province’s online sales portal remaining open.
Government of Canada
· The Prime Minister announces that a large shipment of masks from China will be headed to Canada next 48 hours.
· Government Canada has leased a warehouse in China to help collect and distribute medical supplies as quickly as possible.
· The Prime Minister was questioned about U.S. President Donald Trump's order to stop supplying N95 respirator masks to Canada. He said the federal government has been "very clearly" communicating to the Trump administration that it is critical not to disrupt the two-way flow of essential goods and services
· The Prime Minister announced $40 million for women’s shelters and sexual assault centres and another $10 million would be given to emergency shelters housing Indigenous women and children

公寓和出租樓房的安全措施(COVID-19)
• 在COVID-19大流行期間,居住在有限空間,並要共用公寓/出租樓房內的公共設施可能充滿挑戰;
• 應對COVID-19疫情,不同公寓委員會採取不同的政策;
• 隨身攜帶紙巾,這樣在需要按電梯按鈕或使用門把手時可以使用它;
• 如果電梯已有其他住戶在裡面,請耐心等待下一部電梯(應避免過度擁擠的電梯);
• 盡可能走樓梯(這是避免共用電梯和健身的好方法);
• 等待電梯時,請與其他住戶保持2米間的距離;
• 注意,想想您可能觸碰到的物件― 門把手、電梯按鈕、或垃圾槽把手;
• 與大樓管理公司配合,增加清潔和消毒物體表面的頻次。,
• 保持安全社交距離,保持雙手清潔,不要用手觸摸眼睛、嘴巴和鼻子。如果不需要外出,請留在家裡。
多倫多市府
• 自4月6日,星期一,至4月17日,星期五,市府將恢復後院垃圾收集,為期兩周。
• 居民應該按照垃圾/後院垃圾的收集安排,在收集周開始的日期(星期一),擺放好後院垃圾。
• 請使用後院垃圾袋,以保障本市垃圾收集員的安全。
• 工作人員將努力完成後院垃圾的收集工作,請給我們幾天時間去處理後院垃圾。
安大略省府

加拿大聯邦政府
• 總理宣佈,本國在48小時內將會收到由中國進口的大批量口罩。
• 聯邦政府已在中國租下貨倉,以協助盡快收集和運送醫療物資到本國。
• 總理被問及美國總統特朗普下令停止向加拿大出口N95防護口罩的問題。他說,聯邦政府一直”非常明確”地向特朗普政府表示,維護兩國之間基本商品和服務的雙嚮往來至關重要。
• 總理宣佈,為婦女庇護所和性侵犯中心撥款4千萬加元。另外,為原住民婦女和兒童緊急庇護所撥款1千萬加元。
