O 居民需在指定垃圾收集日的上午7:00前將庭園廢物放在慣常的垃圾收集點。
O 若垃圾在當天未能被收集,市民請將垃圾留在屋外直至被取去為止。期間無需致電311通知市政府。
• 市政府宣佈擴大名為Digital Main Street 的計劃。計劃將協助本地企業建立或擴展其在線服務。
· 本地企業可於digitalmainstreet.ca/Toronto 完成Digital Main Street 的加盟流程並獲得免費的評估和待辦事項推薦清單。
· • 因應現時COVID-19情況,City Hall Live 表演將移師至線上舉行。

· 安大略省府
• 為應付COVID-19疫情,省政府增加了1035張急診病床和1492張重症監護病床,以擴大了醫院的容量。
• 安大略省內一共有20,354張急診病床。在2020年4月30日前,急診病床數量將可再增加4205張。
• 在省內的3504張重症監護病床中,其中2811張配有呼吸機,而疫情剛開始時配有呼吸機的病床有1319張。
• 病床擴充是與「大流行人員分配划」共同配合下進行的。確保醫院擁有所需的醫生和工作人員的措施包括:
O 調配外科護士到其他醫療單位工作。
O 急診科和重症監護護士將以跨部門方式工作。
O 在指定區域內醫院將共用醫生人手。
O 聘請家庭醫生以完成醫院內的輪班工作;以及,
O 聘請已退休的護士和護理人員。
加拿大聯邦政府
• 將有更多的企業因「加拿大緊急企業帳戶」的擴充將而受助。在2019年度員工薪酬總支出為20,000-150萬加元的企業將會合領取補助資格。
• 加拿大緊急商業租金援助計劃將會協助小型企業繳付4月,5月和6月的租金。更多細節將於稍後公佈。
• 聯邦政府已與全國各地的多家公司合作生產如洗手液,手套,防護服等PPE。此外,政府購買的數百萬套PPE已經到達並已分發到各省和地區。

• Drive South on Birchmount – There will be no left turns from northbound Birchmount traffic permitted

City of Toronto
• If you a hold a permit for a use of park facility, please refer to the attached Community Recreation letter concerning the response to COVID-19 related to permits between March 14 to June 28, 2020. Click here
• The City of Toronto will continue yard waste collection for another two weeks from April 20 to May 1.
O Residents are asked to put their yard waste out before 7:00 AM on their regularly scheduled garbage/yard waste collection day.
O If yard waste is not picked up on collection day, residents are asked to leave it out until it’s collected. It is not necessary to call 311 to report a missed collection.
• The City announced the expansion of the Digital Main Street program to help local businesses develop or expand their online services.
· Local businesses can complete the Digital Main Street onboarding process and receive a free Digital Assessment and recommended to-do list at digitalmainstreet.ca/Toronto.
· • The City Hall Live performance program is moving online in response to COVID-19.
· The series will run Monday through Friday from noon to 1:00 PM with two shows per day until the end of June. More than 100 local artists will be directly compensated for 30-minute performances from their homes, livestreamed via Facebook Live at facebook.com/City-Hall-Live-106149534367134.
· Government of Ontario
• The Government of Ontario has expanded hospital capacity in preparation for any COVID-19 outbreak scenarios by adding 1035 acute care beds and 1492 critical care beds
• Ontario has a total of 20,354 acute care beds with a potential for an additional 4205 more acute care beds by April 30, 2020.
• Of Ontario’s 3504 critical care beds, 2811 are equipped with ventilators, up from 1319 when the outbreak first started.
• This bed capacity expansion has been organized in coordination with pandemic staffing plans to ensure hospitals have the physicians and staff needed. Measures include:
O Redeploying surgical nursing staff who can now work with medicine units;
O Sharing highly trained emergency department and intensive care unit nursing staffs across units;
O Sharing physician resources across hospitals in a given region;
O Recruiting family doctors to complete shifts within the hospital; and,
O Recruiting retirees, including nursing and support services.
Government of Canada
• There are new expansions to the Canada Emergency Business Account to make it more accessible. Businesses that spend $20,000-$1.5 million in total payroll in 2019 are now eligible.
• The Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance is a program that will help support small businesses with their rent for April, May and June. More details coming soon.
• The federal government has partnered with various companies across the country to produce PPE such as hand sanitizer, gloves, protective gowns, etc. In addition, the government has purchased millions of units of PPE that have arrived and are being distributed to provinces and territories.
