•  省府與聯邦政府已與3M加拿大分公司達成為期5年的協議，自2021年初開始，3M每年將會提供50,000,000副N95口罩，用以滿足目前本省及本國前線醫護人員的需求。3M所生產的N95口罩，將由省府和聯邦政府平分。

Delta Hotel Temporary Shelter Update

Toronto Hydro

Toronto Hydro will be replacing the existing electrical cables in the Chester Le neighbourhood. The project area extends from Iangrove Terrace to Morecambe Gate, between Victoria Park Avenue and Chester Le Boulevard. Work is expected to take place between August to December 2020. City of Toronto

·       The City of Toronto has issued a new debenture to help finance capital expenditures from 10 different City divisions and agencies. This is the City’s third debenture issuance this year. Read more…

·       Starting today, Toronto Public Health (TPH) nurses will begin a phased approach to resume in-person home-visiting services to eligible priority families as part of the Healthy Babies Healthy Children (HBHC) program. Read more…

 

Government of Ontario

·      The Government of Ontario is providing New Ontario Brewing Co. with $294,000 from the Ontario Together Fund to invest in the retooling and new purchases of production equipment to help in the fight against COVID-19. New Ontario Brewery plans on producing more than 100,000 litres of hand sanitizer, helping to supply area hospitals, pharmacies, and grocers.

·      The Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada reached a five-year agreement with 3M for the provision of 50 million respirators annually beginning in early 2021 to meet current demand for frontline healthcare workers in Ontario and across Canada. The produced respirators will be shared equally between Ontario and Ottawa.
