Do Not Relax On COVID-19 and Public Health Measures
Recent COVID-19 figures have indicated a steady increase in Toronto and the Province over the past few days. This is deeply concerning.
I encourage everyone to follow Public Health guidelines regarding measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Details on effectively maintaining personal hygiene and physical distancing can be found on the Toronto Public Health webpage.
Many new cases have come from events and gatherings. I strongly encourage residents to reconsider attending sizable gatherings this fall.
We cannot let the efforts that we have made for 6 months go to waste. Please continue to follow Public Health guidelines and consider alternatives to in-person socializing.
