COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics
First or Second Dose
- Individuals 12 years of age (born in 2009) and older
-
Appointment for a second dose must be at least:
- 8 weeks after a first dose of AstraZeneca with informed consent
- 28 days after a first dose of Moderna or Pfizer
Ontario offers a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to immunocompromised populations and those at highest risk of severe illness at least 56 days after receiving their second dose in order to provide these individuals with an extra layer of protection against the Delta variant.
Booster doses are now recommended for additional vulnerable populations based on evidence of gradual waning immunity six months after receiving their second dose and a higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
Third/Booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are now available for the following individuals
- Highest-risk individuals, including moderately to severely immunocompromised
- Vulnerable older adults in congregate settings
- Individuals 70 years of age and older

Richmond Hill is ready for Winter - Are You?
Winter weather is around the corner and City staff are ready to respond. Our crews work hard during the winter season to clear roads and sidewalks as quickly and efficiently as possible to ensure the safety of our community.
Snow clearing – What we do
- Monitor the weather and declare a winter event if more than 5 cm of snow is expected
- Anti-icing: Salt brine is sprayed on roads before it snows to help prevent ice/snow accumulation.
- Salt sidewalks/roads: De-icing material is applied to sidewalks and roads during all winter control
- Plow sidewalks/roads: Plowing begins once 5 cm of snow has accumulated. We aim to have roads cleared within 16 hours, sidewalks cleared within 14 hours and dead ends, wide bends and cul-de-sacs cleared within 24 hours after the end of a snowfall. Primary roads and sidewalks are plowed and salted first, followed by secondary roads and sidewalks.
- Clear windrows: To optimize resources, windrow clearing starts after road plows begin their routes and may take up to 13 hours to complete after the snow stops.
Times may vary due to the length and severity of the storm, as well as the time of day. Residents are asked to wait at least 16 hours after a snowfall before contacting Access Richmond Hill with service requests.
