Charge Your Electric Vehicle at Town Facilities
Are you looking for places to charge your electric vehicle (EV) in Richmond Hill? Look no further than the Main Municipal Offices and our Operations Centre!
Fast facts about Richmond Hill’s EV charge stations:
There are 2 chargers located in each of the public Town parking lots at 225 East Beaver Creek Road and 1200 Elgin Mills Road East.
They are available for public use, free of charge, 24 hours/day.
They are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not tied to a specific EV network.
All Town-owned EV charge stations are ‘Level 2’ chargers that will charge a battery electric vehicle from empty to full in 3-5 hours (plug-in electric hybrid vehicles will take less time).
Be sure to explore the local parks, shops and restaurants nearby while your vehicle charges!
