恆福護理院抗擊新冠疫情繼續取得進展

恆福護理院的疫情管理繼續朝著正確的方向發展，所有領域都在不斷改進，包括保持人員配置，確保完善防疫和疾控措施及標準，以及為院友提供高水平的臨床護理與支持。

自本週日（1月10日）起整個一周內，恆福護理院院友、員工以及願意接種疫苗的必要看護人員均可進行疫苗接種。

今日院友與員工均無新增新冠肺炎確診病例，目前院內院友仍有23宗活躍病例，86位院友已康復，表明他們自實驗室檢測確診10日後已不再出現新冠肺炎症狀。

另一個令人鼓舞的跡象是今日無新冠肺炎死亡病例。在疫情爆發期間，因新冠離世的院友總人數仍為73人。

此外，目前有80名員工康復，42名員工已重返院內工作崗位，未來幾天會有更多員工重返崗位。

Progress continues at Tendercare to resolve outbreak

The outbreak management at Tendercare Living Centre continues to move in the right direction with continued improvements in all areas including maintaining staffing levels, ensuring infection prevention and control practices and standards are met, and a high level of clinical care and support for residents. 

Starting this Sunday, January 10 and throughout the following week, Tendercare residents, staff and essential caregivers who wish to be vaccinated will receive the COVID-19 vaccine. 

Today, there are no new resident COVID-19 cases and no new staff cases. There continues to be 23 active resident cases in the home and 86 resolved cases today, indicating that it has been 10 days since their lab test confirming COVID-19 and the individual is no longer showing COVID-19 symptoms.

Another encouraging sign is that there have been no COVID-19-related deaths today. The total number of individuals who have died from COVID-19 during the outbreak remains 73.

Also today, 80 staff have resolved cases and 42 have returned to work at the home with more returning in the coming days.
