為長者提供的食物籃運送服務
多倫多市政府正與加拿大紅十字會合作,為無法離家出外的長者和其他有需要人士提供食物籃運送服務。紅十字會將開放熱線1-833-204-9952於給有需要此項服務的人士。
應付長期留在家中的方法
• 尋找令您放鬆或您喜歡的對身心健康活動。
• 稍作休息,不用不斷追蹤關於COVID-19的新聞。
• 給朋友和家人打電話或進行視像通話,熟悉的聲音和面孔能讓身處異地的親友感覺更加親近。

安大略省府
• 安大略省政府已將所有緊急法令延長至2020年4月23日。
• 省政府已實施以下措施以歇止COVID-19疫情:
O 簡化/改變現有建築用途的程序、並迅速地搭建臨時建築(例如帳篷)以滿足社區需求。措施能夠減輕醫療機構的壓力以及為庇護所提供更多可供睡眠的空間。
O 准許醫院在不改變現時勞資關係的情況下臨時使用養老院的床位和服務以舒緩增醫院的緊張情況。
O 由自2020年4月9日起禁止在官地露營。
O 通過緊急計劃幫助建築工人和企業改善現金流。計劃將解除《建築法》規定的時限和程序,並允許向承包商和分包商釋放預扣款項。
加拿大聯邦政府
• 政府已要求加拿大皇家騎警協調並執行隔離令,並要求任何進入加拿大的人必須自行隔離十四天並監測是否有出現COVID-19的症狀。
• 違反法令的人士將面臨最高750,000 加元和6個月監禁的嚴厲處罰

Food Hamper Delivery for Seniors
The City of Toronto is working with the Canadian Red Cross to provide food hamper delivery to seniors and others in need who are unable to leave their homes. The Red Cross will be accepting calls at 1-833-204-9952 for those who require this service.
Ways to Deal With Staying Home
• Find ways to relax and do healthy activities that you enjoy.
• Take breaks from checking the latest news on COVID-19.
• Call friends and family to hear a familiar voice. Make a video call to feel close when you‘re not together.
• Eat healthy meals and get 6-8 hours of sleep
• Plan when to wake up, what to eat and when to sleep
City of Toronto
• The COVID-19 Enforcement Team will no longer be focused on education. Enforcement officers will move to issuing tickets to people congregating in groups and using closed amenities in City parks.
• Spring Recreational Programs are cancelled. Refunds will automatically be processed for those who had registered for recreational programming. Government of Ontario
• The Government of Ontario has extended all emergency orders put in place until April 23rd, 2020.
• The Government introduced new steps to help stop the spread of COVID-19:
O Making easier to repurpose existing buildings and put up temporary structures, like tents, so communities can meet their local needs quickly. This will reduce pressure on healthcare facilities and help shelters provide more sleeping space.
O Temporarily enabling hospitals to increase their capacity by using the beds and services of retirement homes without certain labour relations implications.
O Prohibiting recreational camping on Crown lands as of April 9 2020.
O Supporting construction workers and businesses with emergency action to help improve cash flow. This will lift the suspension of limitation and procedural time periods under the Construction Act and allow the release of holdback payments to contractors and subcontractors.
Government of Canada
• The RCMP has been asked to coordinate and enforce the order that any person entering Canada must isolate or quarantine (self-isolate) themselves for 14 days and monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
• Violating this order could have significant penalties, with fines up to $750,000 and/or imprisonment for 6 months.
• A person who causes risk of imminent death or bodily harm to another person is liable for a fine of up to $1,000,000 or imprisonment of up to 3 years, or both.
• A $73-billion wage subsidy program aimed at helping businesses and workers survive COVID-19 related economic instability should pass in the House of Commons today.
O The program will provide companies that have experienced a 15% drop in revenues since March 15 with a 75% wage subsidy per employee.
O Businesses that have lost 15% of their revenue in March or 30% of their revenues in April or May qualify for the wage subsidy.
