• 12,707宗累計確診病例
• 169宗新病例
• 341名患者需要入院,其中78人在重症監護病房留醫

多倫多市政府
• 多倫多市將開設14個緊急空調中心,以供無法在家中使用空調和在戶外乘涼的市民使用。中心僅在酷熱天氣警告有效期間開放,開放時間是早上11時至晚上7時開放。Metro Hall 中心則在酷熱天氣警告有效期間24小時開放。更多詳情請閱: 點擊這裡
• 從四月開始一直至今,市政府一致力為重啓本市的市政服務和商業運作作出準備。緊急行動中心在上月建立了重新啓動路線圖,用作本市有關安全地重啓的指引。省政府在今天公佈的下一階段重啓計劃的路線圖與市政府的計劃是相輔相成的。更多詳情請閱: 點擊這裡
• 市政府將在未來數天公佈有關重新啓動TO Camp夏令營計劃的詳情。該計劃將以為兒童提供安全的夏令營營地為重點。另外,SwimTO將詳述重新開放游泳池和其他水上設施的計劃。
安大略省政府
• 省政府將以區域為主導實行第二階段省級重啓措施。
• 從2020年6月12日(星期五)上午12:01開始,省政府將全省社交聚會的人數限制從5人增加到10人。
• 本省的宗教崇拜場所也可以在能夠實行社交隔離措施的情況下開放。但埸地的使用率不能超越最高法定人數的30%。
• 第二階段的重啓措施並不包括多倫多公共衛生部和Greater Toronto and Hamilton 範圍內大部份的公共衛生部門。
• 禁止驅逐商業租戶的新法例在6月3日已經實施。禁令將維持至8月31日。
• 省政府將就其他的行業和政府服務提供更多詳情,其中包括
O 兒童保育;
O 夏令營;
O 協助大專生畢業;
O 培訓中心
O 公共交通
加拿大聯邦政府

COVID-19 Updates – June 8, 2020
Last Saturday, June 6, I was able to distribute free, pre-ordered face masks and hand sanitizer to over 400 constituents, most of whom brought donations to the Salvation Army Food Bank.
I want to thank the people of Ward 22 for their generosity. The Food Bank received donations of $1,000.00 and 2,000 pounds of non-perishable food stuffs. Your generosity will help feed those in our community who have been hardest hit by the COVID-19 crisis. Read more..

*Of the new cases, 57 are related to a delay in reporting previously-identified infections to Toronto Public Health.

City of Toronto
·The City of Toronto is opening 14 Emergency Cooling Centres to help residents who do not have access to a cool space and cannot keep cool in their home or outdoors. Centres will operate during Heat Warnings only, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, except Metro Hall, which will run 24 hours during Heat Warnings. Read more…
·The City of Toronto has, since April, been hard at work planning for the eventual restart of City services and the reopening of the economy. Last month, the Emergency Operations Centre created a “restart roadmap” to help guide the restarting of City operations and to support businesses in their safe reopening. Today’s announcement by the Province of Ontario, outlining the next phase of provincial reopening plans, supports the work the City has completed to date. Read more..
·Will have more details in the coming days on the City's restart plans for Camp TO – a plan to help kids safely go to day camp this summer - and Swim TO – our plans to reopen pools and other aquatic facilities.

·The Government of Ontario will be moving forward with a regional approach to Stage 2 reopening the Province.
·Effective Friday, June 12, 2020 at 12:01 am, Ontario will increase the limit on social gatherings from 5 to 10 people across the Province.
·All places of worship in Ontario will also be permitted to open with physical distancing in place. Attendance will be limited to no more than 30 per cent of the building capacity.
·Toronto Public Health and the majority of Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area Public Health Units are NOT included in the Stage 2 re-opening.
·There will legislation coming to ban commercial eviction effective June 3, until August 31
·The province will soon release more details on other services, including:
o Child care;
o Summer camps;
o Post-secondary education pilots to help people graduate;
o Training centres; and,
o Public transit.
Government of Canada
·Immediate family members of permanent residents or citizens will be granted access into Canada as of today. Anyone entering the country must quarantine for 14 days and plan to stay at least 15 days. This includes spouses, children, parents, guardians or tutors.
