MPP Aris Babikian Appointed Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism
MPP Aris Babikian has been appointed as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism by Premier Doug Ford.
"I am deeply honoured and humbled by this appointment, and I want to thank Premier Ford for his trust and leadership in giving me the opportunity to serve in this role," said MPP Aris Babikian. "For years, I have been committed to advocating for the diverse communities that make Ontario so vibrant, and this new role allows me to further amplify those voices. I am eager to work with Minister Graham McGregor and continue our shared mission of strengthening Ontario’s multicultural fabric and ensuring equal opportunities for all."
MPP Babikian has been a champion for ethnic communities, supporting policies that address systemic challenges while promoting multiculturalism and inclusion. In his new role, MPP Babikian will continue to build on Ontario’s history as a province that embraces and celebrates diversity.
As a local resident, MPP Babikian is the Member of Provincial Parliament for Scarborough-Agincourt, a riding he has represented since 2018. He frequently attends community events and festivals and actively participates in initiatives that promote cultural understanding and social cohesion.
